Alsatia return with a new line up

Rome, june 5 – Missouri based American power metal band Alsatia has returned from a 2 year hiatus with a powerful new line-up. The band has also begin working on their new upcoming 2nd album.

Alsatia now features original band members Scott Livingston (Vocals), Christopher Ashlock (Lead Guitar) and Jason Schelp (Rhythm Guitar) being joined by fellow Kansas City musicans Nick Poffinbarger (Bass) and Michael Knapp (Drums).

Furthermore the band will perform a handful of shows to be announced in the US midwest throughout 2016. Althought the band will spend the majority of the year writing. The new material will follow 2014 independent debut album “Fields of Elysium“. Recording of the sophomore effort is planned for late 2016, with a release sometime in 2017. New album will take name of “Fields of Elysium“.

Alsatia new line up

The new lineup made their first live appearance on Saturday May 14, 2016 at Davies Uptown in Kansas City. The performance was met with a warm and hearty reception by fans and friends who had been eagerly awaiting the quintet’s return to the metal scene.
