Julien are an italian musical project from Rome formed in 2009.
They are the singer-guitarist Matteo Senese and drummer Polo Diana.
The band combines alternative rock, stoner, power pop with electronic music.
The first album “Julien” is from 2011. Recorded mostly in Rome, except the last three songs that were made in Seattle WA. It contains a cover of “Fogma”, a song from Groove Armada.
The Band stayed in Seattle for some months having an important exchange of ideas and inspirations.
The second record is “Seattle Calling”, from 2012. It’s a live session made at the Khaoss studio in Seattle WA. For the online version there is a cover of “Another brick in the wall”.
Both albums are produced by Julien and printed in Italy.
The band is now committed in the promotion of their music.

PURE
The PURE born in Rome in 2007 at the initiative of Emiliano Dattilo (vocals and guitar). After a long experience in some bands on the local scene Capitoline, Dattilo seeks to achieve a solo project that summarizes the set of his musical influences.
Soon, the initial design undergoes an evolution with the involvement of Valerio Pisciarelli (drums) and immediately the feeling that is created produces the first result with the ‘recording of an album in collaboration with two other musicians: Valerio Cosmai and Pier Carlo Sprecacenere. In December 2009, the Banana Records – Universo public “Through My Eyes” immediately available on iTunes and major digital music stores.
In September 2010, a new twist to the path of the band is the date of the entry in the group of Ennio Bettoni to bottom with which you immediately order established a fruitful collaboration with the merger of their artistic experiences. A little later during a time of great spiritual awakening Dattilo conceptually conceived the new album, the new-found inspiration pushes the three musicians to join in the studios of Noise Home Kutso to record “Love After the end of the world” that sees the light in 2012.

OUT OF PLACE ARTIFACTS
Gli Out Of Place Artifacts sono una categoria di oggetti che sembrano avere una difficile collocazione archeologica, oltreché il nome scelto da Alessandro, Andrea, Giorgio, Riccardo – vecchi compagni di scuola nati e cresciuti in una periferia di Roma ovest – quando nel 2005 cominciarono a frequentare lo stesso umido e buio garage per
«trovare, lentamente (davvero lentamente) un terreno in comune dove ognuno poteva far valere le proprie influenze» (Bergamomeccanica).
Dopo diversi anni di fedele adesione all’estetica post-punk, di live in giro per l’Italia e non, nel 2011 esce l’ep “Irrelephant?” : “un piccolo gioiello New Wave in cui arrangiamenti orchestrali e melodici celebrano, di contrasto, il lo-fi più scarno e asciutto dell’indie anni ’90” (Rockit).
La gestazione dell’Ep è lunga, il tempo necessario per codificare le regole del proprio songwriting e adattarlo ad una formazione atipica, con pianoforte e violino come figure centrali nella scrittura. Per l’occasione Luca entra come batterista, mentre solo nel 2012 la formazione diventerà finalmente completa con David alla voce.
Dal 2014 comincia la stesura del nuovo album, che vedrà luce nel 2015, ma questo non limita l’impegno della band nel costituirsi come squadra di calcio a 5.
