Magnum: il nuovo live album “Live At The Symphony Hall” il 18 Gennaio 2019
“Live At The Symphony Hall” è il titolo del nuovo album che i Magnum pubblicheranno il 18 gennaio 2019 per SPV/Steamhammer nei formati 2CD e 3LP. Il live è stato registrato il 19 aprile 2018 alla Symphony Hall di Birmingham. Sul brano “Lost On The Road To Eternity” è presente in veste di ospite il cantante Tobias Sammet (Edguy e Aavantasia).

I Magnum sono una rock band inglese formata a Birmingham da Tony Clarkin (chitarra) e Bob Catley (voce).,
Il più significativo successo iniziale dei Magnum fu l’album “Chase the Dragon” del 1982, che raggiunse il numero 17 nella classifica degli album inglesi. Comprendeva diverse canzoni che sarebbero diventate le colonne portanti del live set della band, in particolare “Soldier of the Line“, “Sacred Hour” e “The Spirit“. L’album “Vigilante” del 1986 ha rappresentato una mossa verso il mainstream a causa della produzione del batterista dei Queen Roger Taylor e David Richards. La band raggiunse il suo picco commerciale nel 1988 quando entrarono nella Top Ten britannica per la prima volta con l’album “Wings of Heaven” del 1988, che raggiunse il quinto posto e presentò tre singoli dei Top 40, “Days of No Trust“, “Start Talking Love” e “It Must Have Been Love“.
