La brutal death metal band norvegese Kraanium è stata fondata nel 2001 dai fratelli gemelli Martin e Mats Funderud. Il primo demo pubblicato nel 2002, è ispirato al grindcore e al deathgrind. L’album di debutto del 2008, “Ten Acts of Sickening Perversity“, tratta temi come la tortura brutale, la violenza estrema e la necrofilia. I Kraanium sono di proprietà dell’etichetta Comatose Music, che ha anche i Bloodsoaked e altre quaranta band nella sua scuderia.
